My Writings
Winston and Fastidious from "The Freedom Protocols"
I’m currently working on a three-book Sci-Fi/Adventure series called The Freedom Protocols. This series is primarily written for a middle grade/young adult audience, but Sci-Fi lovers of all ages can enjoy them. I’ve published the first two books in this series, “Declaration” (2020) and “Infiltration” (2022), and I’ve completed the first draft of book three, “Restoration”!
This series goes to the desert world of Zarikum, home to a robotic race known as Autoclons. It follows an Autoclon named Fastidious as it encounters its "Programmer" and discovers that its Freedom Protocols have been bypassed, forcing it to obey those in command.
Once its programming is restored, can it convince its fellow Autoclons that their programming is faulty?
My Writing Background
I started my creative writing career over 20 years ago, writing short-stories in middle school about Star Trek - The Next Generation. However, as I transitioned into high school and college, my interest in writing fiction in my free time waned as I spent more time on my studies and other interests. Find out how I was inspired to jump back into writing as an adult.
Facts About Me
In addition to being an author, I'm a full-time employee of a major healthcare software company, a newlywed, a coin collector, a runner, and a dog owner. You can discover more about my non-writing interests and additional information about me here.
